Escape Routing

Hi All,

 

Requirement is to set up Escape routing whenever role owner not found or provisioning not happened it should go to security stage with a notification saying " Request forwarded to Security as no role owner found / No provisioning happened .Please investigate and fix."

 

We already had NO ROLE OWNER path so I just maintained ESCAPE path in process global settings as attached .

 

Now for sending notification to security team saying " Request forwarded to Security as no role owner found / No provisioning happened .Please investigate and fix."Please suggest on this and correct me if I am wrong somewhere.Thanks!

GRC AC 10.1- Simplified Access Request Form

Hi Experts,

 

I have been trying to check out the new Simplified access form feature in GRC 10.1 but facing some issues.

1.  I am unable to find the Create Request -simplified option in NWBC and basically am unaware of the standard way to launch the simplified access form.

2. I did manage to make my way indirectly to it by using the service GRAC_AR > Create Request > Role Request. But this does not have option for Request Type and System assignment. The Request reason is a mere description. Since I have designed my BRF+ rules depending on request type, the request that I eventually try to create using this are not getting created since it cannot find the initiators and stuff.

 

So i need to know how to add new fields to simplified access request forms as Request Type and System.(the SPRO dropdown for manage fileds doesnt have these options) and also standard way(tcode/navigation) to use the Simplified access request form.

 

Any response will be really useful.

Impact of SAP Query on ERP System Resources

Hi gurus,

 

Our client asked us what the impact of running SAP Queries on the their ERP server is.

 

The Background:

We are writing business rules to automatically and continuously monitor controls in the SAP Governance, Risk and Compliance Process Control 10.1 ("SAP GRC PC") system. The SAP Query is written on the client's ERP server. We use an RFC to pull information into the SAP GRC PC system from ERP using the SAP Query.

 

My Questions:

  1. What impact on the ERP's resources does the SAP Query have?
  2. What factors influence the impact on the ERP's resources?
  3. How can these impacts be mitigated?

GRC AC - Workflow approval

Hello community,

 

We have one workflow configured to request double approval to grant roles to users. Firstly one Manager Approval and then the Role Assignment Approval. Sometimes the Manager and role Assignment are the same person.

 

My question is:

 

Is it possible to configure GRC AC to request only one approval at this cases (only when Manager and Role Assignment are the same person).

GETWA_NOT_ASSIGNED error while deleting users in SU01/SU10

Hi,

 

I am getting runtime error GETWA_NOT_ASSIGNED while deleting users in su01/su10. All the GRC config are maintained. I also checked SAP NOTE 1865606 but it not relevant to us as we are already on SP 06 for GRCPINW. I am also attaching the error screen shots. If any one has any ideas, kindly share.

Is it possible to disable remediation view in AC10.1?

Dear All

 

In GRC10.1, when I run User Level Access Risk Analysis, the analysis report links to Remediation View which is different with GRC10.0 or Role Level Access Risk Analysis. Our client doesn't like this view. Is it possible to switch off remediation view and display the traditional result page? Thank a lot

Link to get Approvers and Link to get request status are not coming corrrectly

Hi,

 

I am having an issue with access request variables LINK_GET_APPROVERS and LINK_GET_REQ_STATUS. I am using these variables in general text for notification email, when I click the link for get approvers im being redirected to the link for request status (which is the screen of opening the request in IINSTANCE STATUS) and when I click on the link for get request status im being redirected to the link for request status (which is the screen of opening the request in OPEN)

 

 

so can any one please help me out how to resolve this issue.

Hi experts,

 

Looking for solution on how to implement PSS in GRC AC10 with the following option:

 

Steps are

 

1. User wants to reset his/her password.

2. Goes to NWBC Link

3. Put the user id

4. Clicks on < Forgot Password >

5. Security question is asked

6. User gets a mail in his/her mail box with a link to reset the password

Prerequisites for GRCPINW add-on

Just reading through OSS note 1497971 to check pre-requisites for the GRC AC add-on for my R/3 4.7 system. I noticed it lists these minimum support pack levels:

 

SAP_BASIS
SAPKB62063
SAP_ABA
SAPKA62063

 

 

 

 

 

Mine are, er, just a little below that (well, OK, quite a lot below that). Does anyone know if these are just recommended support pack levels, or are they actually required? Has anyone installed the addons on a system with a lower support pack? How low? Did it work?

 

Are there specific things needed that could be added independently of whole support packs?

 

We are going to be upgrading R/3 to ERP 6 later this year, but I wanted to get the GRC 5.3 -> 10.0 upgrade done first. Given the pending R/3 upgrade there's no point in going through the process up applying support packs to get them up to date, so if there's no way around this I'll just have to postpone the GRC upgrade.

I have tried doing the MSMP workflow configurations as per AC 10.0 Customizing Workflows for Access Management.pdf

 

But still i am not getting idea about what many things like, in 5.3 we configure stages, and we include multiple stages in one path.

 

Can any one explain in details how to configure stage and paths...

GRAC_REP_OBJ_SYNC NULL Exception

Hi Experts,

I have just configured Netweaver7.0 Portal system with GRC10. I followed the AC10EP Configuration.pdf to configure my GRC with the Portal. I am able to run the GRAC_SCHEMA_UPDATE job successfully however when i run the repository object sync i get a null exception

I have checked the RFC connections and they work fine.I have defined the Logical Port as well

Any help would be much appreciated

i am attaching the screens and the error logs

SAP GRC Access Control (Create Z WebDynpro for Approval)

Dear all.

 

I have already read this thread about how to perform a change at WebDynpro level for all the users:

I am really interested in how to modify the Approval screen not the Request Screen. And my requirement is modify Approval Screen for only certain users.

 

What i want is when a user open their tasks the new pop-up window opened is the Z screen Approval.

So what i have done is i have created a new Z application for GRFN_POWL_INBOX and then i put this application into a Link for my Launchpad.

I have also created a Z application for the Approval screen. The i have a Z screen for Work Inbox and another Z screen for Approval screen. The problem is i don't know how to link this new Approval screen with the Work Inbox screen. I want when i push the button over a task the Z window is called instead of the standar one as you can see into the image below:

Update GRC Rule Set in DEV, QUA & PRD systems

Hi All,

 

I need to make some amendments in Rule Sets for a few custom transaction codes.

 

I want to understand what is the best practice to do such updates, while keeping the systems in landscape in sync.

 

I am using GRC AC 10.0, three system landscape. Where GRC DEV is linked to ECC DEV, GRC QUA to ECC QUA and GRC PRD to ECC PRD.

When I am doing risk analysis on user level for two users having simillar roles there are two different access risk ID popping up for simillar roles.

GRC 10.1 Plug in Parameter value

Hello,

 

I am implementing GRC 10.1 AC(ARA & EAM). In the GRC (PLUG IN)-->Maintain Plug In setting (BACKEND SYSTEM), once we enter the parameter value in Development client, do we need to change the value in Production client? Because if i go in Production its still showing me the Parameter value as DEV Client.
